I attribute a huge part of my understanding of and growth in public relations to my involvement with Kennesaw PRSSA. When an academic advisor recommended that I pursue PR, I hardly knew what it was. It wasn’t until I joined my university’s PRSSA Chapter that I was able to fully understand and embrace every aspect of the field. By talking with PR experts and practicing many essential skills, Kennesaw PRSSA has helped establish the foundation that I needed to launch me toward success.

My leadership role with PRSSA prepared me for my career in social media management. PRSSA was a great opportunity to develop real world communications and time management skills that I use every day on the job.

My time not only as the president of PRSSA, but a member as well was an experience that I am forever grateful for. The opportunity of being constantly surrounded by such hardworking and curious rising PR professionals and getting the chance to learn from industry professionals on a daily basis was amazing! During my time within PRSSA, I was able to nurture so many different skillsets including leadership, public speaking, copywriting and more. PRSSA will forever hold a special place in my heart!

As a proud graduate Kennesaw PRSSA alumnus, I can confidently say that my experiences with the chapter were transformative. Serving in several leadership roles within the organization not only honed my skills but also ignited my passion for public relations. The events and programming offered by Kennesaw PRSSA were instrumental in connecting me with industry professionals who have played a crucial role in my post-grad career. These networking opportunities opened doors I never imagined possible and provided invaluable insights that I carry with me today. I truly believe that I would not be the emerging PR professional I am without the experiences and relationships fostered through Kennesaw PRSSA. It laid the foundation for my success and continues to inspire me as I navigate my career. I am forever grateful for the support and mentorship I received during my time there!
