Isabel McCord is a senior Kennesaw State University student majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. She has been involved with Kennesaw PRSSA for over two years and currently serves as our chapter President. Isabel is passionate about all-things social media and wants to explore this field upon her graduation in December, 2024. When she isn’t diving into PR stuff, you can probably find her hanging out with her dogs or getting lost in a good book.

Emily Reimbold is a Public Relations student at Kennesaw State University with an interest in sports & entertainment and integrated communications. With a cumulative GPA of 3.67, Emily has been recognized on the Dean’s List for six consecutive semesters. She is a quick-witted storyteller with a passion for writing, researching, brand strategy, and media relations. Emily is looking to further her public relations experience through an internship or entry-level position.
Esther Andega is the Vice President of Public Relations for Kennesaw PRSSA. She is a sophomore majoring in Public Relations and a few of her interests include writing, exercising, and attending music events. She has a huge love for entertainment from music to movies and hopes to work in this field someday. Esther is also an active member of the Black Music Coalition and the African Student Association at Kennesaw State University.
Katherine Chavous is a hard-working student passionate about writing in the public relations profession. She enjoys reading and writing in every aspect and hopes she can showcase that in all areas of her work. She is striving for a more well-rounded understanding of PR through her studies and involvement in PRSSA.
Vivien Scheib is a Public Relations major with a minor in Professional Writing graduating from Kennesaw State University in December, 2024. Since her freshman year at KSU, Vivien has been named to the Dean’s List every semester. As the Vice President of Digital Media for Kennesaw PRSSA, Vivien creates most of the graphics for our social media pages and works very well with Canva. Some unique facts about her are: she is a Swiftie, loves the beach, spending time with her family and friends, and Dr. Pepper.
Deja Brantley (she/her), a dedicated member of Kennesaw PRSSA, is a sophomore Public Relations major with minors in Crisis Preparedness and Advertising and Digital Media. Brantley serves as Kennesaw PRSSA’s Inaugural Assistant of Digital Media but will be transitioning into the Vice President of Digital Media role in the Spring. Her involvement with PRSSA initially began as a freshman at KSU. She has had the opportunity to attend agency tours, leadership conferences, and meet industry professionals, increasing her love and understanding of different industries available within the Public Relations field. In addition to her commitment to PRSSA, she is also a proud member of National Council of Negro Women, Inc., Big Sister Little Sister, National Collegiate Entertainers Group Sensation dance team, and the Star Collective dance team. Deja aspires to be an influential Public Relations leader upon her graduation in December 2026.
Kahliyah Griffin is a second year Public Relations student. She is the Vice President of Membership for Kennesaw PRSSA and helps with recruitment and fosters a vibrant community. Last year, she joined as a freshman and was elected to the E-Board as Secretary. Additionally, she has experience in planning for events and brainstorming for campaigns. In the spring, she excelled in her academics and made the Dean’s List. Kahliyah is expecting to graduate in May 2027.
Elijah Griffin is a dedicated student at Kennesaw State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Music and Entertainment Business. As a Journey Honors College Scholar, Elijah maintains a strong academic standing, anticipating graduation in December 2025. Elijah brings leadership experience from serving as a Resident Assistant, where he helped foster a positive campus community for two years. His involvement extends to the KSU PRSSA chapter as a Membership Assistant, where he supports recruitment initiatives and member engagement. Elijah’s skills in creative writing, communications, and social media management are complemented by his proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Microsoft Office. He is passionate about using his talents to enhance student life and community engagement at KSU.
Zari Muhammad, a dedicated member of Kennesaw PRSSA, is a graduating senior double majoring in Public Relations and Black Studies. Zari serves as Kennesaw PRSSA’s Inaugural Vice President of Finance. Her involvement with PRSSA initially began as a sophomore at KSU. So far, she’s had the honor of participating in 2024 Leadership Assembly, UGA and KSU’s Southeastern District Conference, as well as PRSSA and Finn Partners: Partners for Diversity. During her time with FINN Partners, she was able to grow deeper empathy for those from underrepresented communities and decided to make a change from the inside out by joining PRoud Council, a national PRSSA subcommittee. In addition to her commitment to PRSSA and its DEI initiatives, she is also a proud member of National Council of Negro Women, Inc., where she previously served as outreach coordinator for the KSU section during the 2023-24 school year. Zari aspires to be a community relations leader in the sports industry upon graduation in December.
Katie Taylor has been a devoted member of Kennesaw PRSSA since 2022, having served as the Digital Media Director, Vice President, and now Secretary. She has attended many conferences including the PRSSA Leadership Assembly and ICON, where she got to network with other young professionals around the country. Katie has also served on the executive board as the Public Relations Vice President, as well as the Alumnae Relations Chairwoman for her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. She has also been involved in SPJ (Society of Professional Journalists) besides playing the clarinet in the University Band, writing articles for The Sentinel, and having her own show on Owl Radio during her time here at KSU. She is graduating with a B.S in Public Relations and a minor in Professional Writing in the Fall of 2025.
Gabriela Citino is a senior Public Relations student with a minor in International Affairs and is on track to graduate in the Spring of 2025. Gabriela’s involvement on campus extends beyond Kennesaw PRSSA, as she has also served as the Honors College Senator in the Student Government Association and as an Honors Peer Mentor for first-year students. She is deeply passionate about intercultural affairs and communication and describes herself as a storyteller, as her purpose in life is to tell, preserve, and honor stories.
Diya Patel serves as the Awards Manager for Kennesaw PRSSA and is a junior Public Relations student at Kennesaw State University with plans to graduate in Spring 2026. Diya has long aspired to work with the embassy, driving her to pursue a career focused on contributing positively to society. Her goals include giving back to create opportunities for others, just as she has been afforded. She has also spoken before community business executives, state senators and commissioners on the topic of enhancing the future of education.
